Diane brings over 27 years of experience as a Financial Advisor, pioneering concepts such as team advisory services, simplified client financial reporting, Client University and family financial education. As the Founding Partner of The Doolin Group, Diane's primary focus is on client relationships and integrating the entire process of successful management of client assets throughout the family. A founder of the Institute for Preparing Heirs, named in Barron's "Top 100 Women Financial Advisors" and a wealth advisor innovator, Diane continues to establish new service standards within the financial services industry and brings a much-needed, new perspective on family wealth and family financial readiness. Diane resides in Pasadena with her husband Vic Preisser and their 2 Polish Lowland Sheepdogs, Rudy & Stella.

Jason is an investment professional with more than 20 years’ experience, focusing on providing wealth management solutions to clientele of The Doolin Group at Morgan Stanley. This includes overall strategic planning with emphasis on financial planning, asset allocation, manager selection and estate planning strategies. Jason also has extensive experience in professional money management consisting of portfolio management for clients utilizing Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and Closed End Funds (CEFs). Jason works well with our clients’ children as a financial mentor who has a gift for explaining sometimes complex investment principals in simple terms. Jason resides in San Gabriel with his wife Kathleen and their daughter Kirsten and sons Carter and Nicholas.

With an investment banking and technology consulting background, David brings the highest analytical designation our industry offers, the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®). Although he is not a practicing CPA, he brings the tax planning knowledge that his CPA license provides. David joined The Doolin Group in 2016 to begin his career in the financial services industry.  His role in operations includes building and servicing client relationships, upgrading client service processes, and supporting our investment research process.

David grew up in Central California and now resides in Pasadena with his wife Cheyenne. David holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of California at Riverside. He is FINRA licensed series 7 & NASAA licensed series 66.

Yasmine Elli Watanabe

Yasmine is one of your primary points of contact when calling or meeting with The Doolin Group.  She takes a great pride in her ability to assist clients in a timely, efficient and highly professional manner by drawing upon her customer service experience and previous communications roles. Prior to joining The Doolin Group, Yasmine worked in the financial services industry as an analyst and key relationship manager, which she now utilizes to assist the Group on projects related to business management, client education events, and reporting. Yasmine is FINRA licensed Series 7 and Series 66.
 
Yasmine attended the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating in 2012, and in 2017, was selected to be a UCLA Anderson Riordan MBA Fellow. Residing in Santa Monica, Yasmine spends weekends practicing yoga, running on the beach, reading economic theory and the New Yorker, and exploring LA’s expansive culinary and mixology culture. She has traveled extensively, living in such places as Egypt, Pakistan, Nepal, and Italy.



Kelly Nelson

Kelly brings more than 10 years of customer service experience to The Doolin Group where she describes herself as a “people person” who enjoys being a client’s first point of contact when a client calls or meets with the Group. Always putting the clients needs first, Kelly takes great pride in ensuring client inquiries and requests are handled professionally with attention to detail and efficiency. Kelly enjoys working in a highly professional and friendly team environment dedicated to delivering exceptional wealth management advice and services to clients and their families. 

Kelly’s outside activities are centered on her children, and in particular, watching her daughter compete in swim competitions and her son compete in team sports. Kelly also enjoys reading, watching historical documentaries, and writing poetry and fictional stories.

Alex Schwan

Alex is a familiar face to many of the clients at The Doolin Group. Alex joined the Group full-time in 2016, after serving an internship while attending Northeastern University. In his role as a Client Service Associate, Alex assists the Group with a range of client-related projects, including verifying and consolidating client performance reports, and researching and analyzing investments. He takes great pride in his attention to detail, and finding innovative ways to improve processes and procedures. Alex is also involved in the coordination and planning of Client University, providing input on topics of interest to the upcoming generation of successful families and family owned businesses. 

Alex enjoys working with a highly motivated team focused on providing exceptional client service and wealth planning advice that includes fostering good stewardship of  family assets and values. Outside of work, Alex enjoys adventure photography, surfing, skiing, mountain biking, and tennis.

Shawnt Bakizian

The Doolin Group takes pride in encouraging and supporting on-the-job learning of highly motivated career-focused individuals who are pursuing careers in fields related to wealth management. Shawnt has been interning with the Group since August  where he assists team members in their day-to-day responsibilities. Here, he is gaining first-hand experience in areas related to financial management, including investment analysis, planning and reporting. While working as an intern, Shawnt attends Pasadena Community College where he excels as an Honors Student and will be transferring out by the end of the school year.  His outside interests focus on Bikes 4 Orphans, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that he founded to provide bicycles to orphans in third world countries so they can have easier, safer and faster access to school. For his efforts, Shawnt received commendation from Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and the City of the Glendale. To date, Bikes 4 Orphans has delivered 300 bicycles to orphans in seven countries.
