James received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in accounting in 1979 from Bloomsburg University. He started investment career in 1980 and joined Smith Barney along side his younger brother Stephen in 1998. In October of 2008, he was promoted to the Branch Manager role in the local State College office. He not only provides the renowned guidance to his clients but to the financial advisors of his branch.

James and his wife Ronde, of 25 years, live in Reedsville, PA. They both enjoy the outdoors and spending time with their pets. James also enjoys golfing, fishing and traveling when he can get away. As member of both the Lewistown Country Club and Getty’s Ridge Rod and Gun Club, he makes time to share his leadership and management skills with his local clubs in various positions and ranks.  As the eldest of five siblings, James spends quality time with his nieces and nephews as well as his mother Angela. James has been a member of the local Kiwanis and Knights of Columbus chapter for over 20 years. James is life long parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lewistown, PA.

Stephen P Dalton
Vice President – Wealth Management

Stephen started his career as a financial advisor at Butcher and Singer in 1985. He later joined Smith Barney with his eldest brother James in 1998. Stephen is firmly committed to long term relationships and strives to deliver exceptional client service. He listens carefully to their goals, values, aspirations and concerns; based on this input, he then works attentively to help them in achieving their financial objectives.

Working closely with you, Stephen will develop an investment strategy focused clearly on your objectives—one that reflects your lifestyle expectations, cash flow needs, risk tolerance and aspirations for your family. In his spare time, Stephen enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his five children. He and his wife, Teresa, have been married for more than 28 years. They have live in Lewistown, Pennsylvania for most of their life. Stephen is also an active member of Knight of Columbus for over 20 years and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association for over 7 years. Stephen is life long parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lewistown, PA.

Brodie M. Dalton
Financial Advisor

Brodie Dalton came into the industry and began working with his family, The Dalton Group at Morgan Stanley in 2011.  He is a fully licensed Financial Advisor who focuses on helping business owners and families to prepare for their financial future.  While working with his team, he helps to provide perspectives and ideas that fit many different types of investor’s needs.  Brodie’s focus is to connect with you on a personal level and to build a perpetual relationship.  This allows him to uncover all goals and every aspect of your life in which a financial plan of action can be applied around.  

Brodie received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and in Business Administration from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.  He currently resides in State College with his wife Whitney and dog Drexel.  They both enjoy the outdoors, attending sporting events, and volunteering in their spare time.  

Brodie is a member of the State College Downtown Rotary Club and takes an active role participating on the fundraising committee.  He is also involved with the affordable housing concerns in the area as he sits on the board of directors of the Centre County Housing and Land Trust.  He thoroughly believes in helping others and giving back to the community in any way possible. 

Amy Dalton
Associate Vice President

Amy Dalton relocated from Washington D.C. to join her father and uncle’s team in State College PA in 2010. In D.C. she was a Consulting Group Analyst for Graystone Consulting, an institutional platform at Morgan Stanley*. Amy was there for 6 years and was responsible for both investment analysis and performance reporting as well as the technical issues, and accounting services. Amy was an advocate for the Graystone teams and their clients by understanding and representing their views, priorities and opinions on key operational and accounting issues.

While there, Amy received the 2008 Association of Professional Investment Consultants Pat Nicholson Award for outstanding service and accomplishments as a technical analyst. In 2009, Amy was awarded the Consulting Group Technical Analyst of the Year for her dedication and innovation in enhancing client reporting and portfolio analysis. Amy’s Legacy Smith Barney and has been with the firm since 2001. 

Amy’s focused in State College, is to empower, educate, and engage the women and nonprofit organizations in her local community. As a fully licensed Financial Advisor, Amy’s role is to help you use your wealth to achieve what is most important to you. That may mean providing an education to children and grandchildren, buying a vacation home, meeting the special needs of a family member, retiring ten years early — the list is endless, and the decision is uniquely your own. Together, Amy and her team will explore your aspirations and the life you envision. Amy graduated from Susquehanna University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance and a Minor in Economics. In her spare time Amy’s enjoys volunteering locally and is actively involved in United Cerebral Palsy Association, the Second Mile and in the local Women's Welcome Club. Amy is also a life long parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lewistown, PA.

Tammy J. Mohney
Registered Marketing Associate

Tammy has multifaceted duties, which comprises coordinating the group’s overall day-to-day operations, implementing wealth management systems through computer based programs to increase the clients’ service quality. Tammy started her career at PNC Brokerage in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. With over 15 years of experience, Tammy’s exposure to four different financial firms: PNC Brokerage, Legg Mason Wood Walker, Citigroup Global Markets and Morgan Stanley* gave her the various skills and knowledge in different computer software programs, operational procedures and numerous management controls. She has worked closely with financial advisors and their clients with back office support and management to maintain a consistent business practice flow. She is a liaison for client needs and demonstrates that with special emphasis on attention-to-detail and timeliness. Tammy’s work ethic and organization have made a positive impression on clients and management. She's proactive, thorough, focused with her work and is committed to her office and the clients.  Tammy became a registered representative of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) with the series 7 in 1995, since she has completed the series 8, 9, 10, 63 and 66. 

A Clearfield resident for over 40 years, Tammy is a member of the Clearfield-Curwensville Country club and plays golf in her spare time. Tammy also enjoys traveling and spending time with her two children. Tammy’s daughter is a social worker and her son is a corporate attorney and both reside in the Pittsburgh area. Tammy’s son welcomed his first child in early 2010, Tammy’s first grandson.
