For me, retirement planning means more than providing my clients with investment advice. It means helping them maintain the financial independence they’ve worked their whole lives to achieve.

My consultative process begins with an in-depth discussion of your current finances and future objectives. We’ll address issues you might have overlooked and determine how we can help you adjust your investment strategy to accommodate changing conditions and meet any unforeseen expenses and income demands that may arise during retirement.

“Another Brick in the Wall” Michael Wilson, chief investment officer of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and Morgan Stanley & Co., says the stock market has shrugged off a lot of dysfunction in Washington, unsettling news from abroad and an anemic GDP report. Stocks are working their way higher thanks to strong earnings growth.

“In Europe, This Year Is Really Different” Politics commands the headlines, but the equity markets are looking at the improved fundamentals and they like what they see, writes Vijay Chandar, market strategist for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

“The Opportunity in Japanese Equities” For most of the past two months, so-called safe haven assets like the Japanese yen rose as investors started to question global reflation, and the higher yen pushed Japanese equities to the back of the global equity pack. Lisa Shalett, who heads up Wealth Management Resources and Investment & Portfolio Strategies, says the fundamentals suggest Japan should be a leader of the pack by the end of the year.
