Typically I work with individuals and families who need guidance, advice and support navigating the complexities of financial planning for retirement. I aim to serve clients who have saved between $250,000 and $5,000,000 towards retirement.
One of my niche areas of focus is helping individuals and families maximize their Social Security retirement income benefits. All too often I see individuals, spouses, widows/widowers, or divorced individuals missing out on Social Security retirement income benefits because of what they did not know or understand about Social Security. When clients come to me
Clients often seek out my experience when retirement is in sight. Usually, this is 5 to 10 years before or shortly after they have retired. Alternatively, some of my new relationships begin when I consolidate and manage a client’s old 401(k) rollovers.
What to expect from me
A series of in-depth and ongoing conversations from the onset of our relationship so that I thoroughly understand your needs, goals, dreams, resources, family and concerns. A thoughtful, written and complete financial plan to guide our decision-making moving forward. An annual in-person review meeting to update and review your financial plan. A semi-annual review in-person or via phone to update you on your progress towards your goals. Learn more about my process.

What I believe
I believe in building low-cost, efficient portfolios for my clients. That investment advice given in the absence of a complete financial plan does not serve the clients’ needs. That a financial plan is not a one-time event but a constant and on-going process. That understanding and “getting” my clients is possibly the most important thing I can do.
