Advising clients since 1982, Robert I. Jeffrey manages a team of six people with approximately $400 million under management as of September 2012. Areas of expertise include financial planning (with a specialty on retirement cash flow analysis) and managing investment portfolios. The Jeffrey Group at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management advises individuals, foundations, and corporations.
A native of Baltimore, Mr. Jeffrey earned his BA and MA degrees from The Johns Hopkins University. He is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and studied policy sciences at the graduate level at UMBC. In his academic career prior to the investment industry, Bob published and presented papers with the American Association of Dental Schools and the American Public Health Association.
Mr. Jeffrey’s professional licenses include the Series 7, 8, 31 and 66. In 2012, he was chosen as a Five Star Wealth Manager and as a National Association of Board Certified Advisory Practices (NABCAP) Premier Advisor.
Mr. Jeffrey is active in the community, currently serving on Howard Community College’s Commission on the Future. Previously, he served as a Trustee of the Horizon Foundation and chair of Horizon's Investment Committee on which he remains a member. He is also a past Director and Assistant Treasurer of the Howard Community College Educational Foundation. He served two decades on the Boards of CareFirst BlueChoice and CapitalCare and is a past president of the Jim Rouse Entrepreneurial Fund (JREF). Mr. Jeffrey is a 1991 graduate of Leadership Howard County and a 2000 graduate of Leadership Maryland.
A resident of Columbia, MD since 1977, Mr. Jeffrey is married to Bach Tran-Jeffrey, a retired dentist, and has two sons, Alexander, an Adjunct Professor of Physics at Howard Community College, and Zachary, a senior at the University of Maryland College Park’s Clark School of Engineering.

Jason joined The Jeffrey Group at Morgan Stanley* in 1997 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNE practitioner, Portfolio Manager and CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANS SPECIALIST. His planning process helps clients determine their financial goals, risk tolerance and required return on capital. His experience in wealth transfer strategies helps families implement effective multi-generational estate plans. Additionally, his broad knowledge of corporate retirement plans helps business owners maximize their retirement savings.
Jason and his team focus on tangible financial goals and implement investment strategies that enable clients to achieve their objectives without taking undue risk. Their investment management capabilities include tactical asset allocation, portfolio construction and investment manager selection. They are recognized by Morgan Stanley* among a select group of Financial Advisors who are qualified based on training, experience and commitment to client service to provide individual investors with a level of personalized portfolio management typically reserved for major institutions.
Jason and his team have been successful in working with non-profit organizations in their community. They help organizations establish investment policy statements, conduct investment manager searches and monitor their operational or endowment funds.
Jason has a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Jason is the President of the UMBC Alumni Association and is a graduate of Leadership Howard County. Jason also serves on Hopewell Cancer Support Center's Reach Out and Run race committee and recently was a House Captain for Rebuilding Together Howard County's Rebuilding Day.
Jason, his wife Rebecca and their son William live in the Federal Hill area of Baltimore, Maryland.
Barbara F Taylor

Barbara joined the Jeffrey Group in the Spring of 2012.
She attended Old Dominion University and has worked for Morgan Stanley for 7 years. She is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist and a Certified Retirement Planning Counselor.
Barbara focuses her attention on Retirement Plan business and financial planning. Prior to joining the Jeffrey Group, she was the regional Retirement Plan Consultant for Morgan Stanley*.
Barbara is an avid golfer and also enjoys boating and spending time with her family, which includes husband Gregg and daughters Kimberly and Courtney. She and her family are from Baltimore and live in the White Marsh area of Baltimore County.
